NICHOLAS ZILL
Producer / Writer
Nicholas Zill is the founder and producer of the Capitol Comedy troupe. Over the last decade and a half, he has produced and written or co-written 10 musical comedy political satire shows that were staged in Washington, DC and Los Angeles and South Pasadena, CA. He has written the lyrics for over a hundred songs, most in collaboration with composers Howard Bennett and Jim Burns. In collaboration with visual artist and animator Michael Rimbaud, Zill has created animated YouTube videos that poke fun at various public figures and institutions, ranging from Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to Bernie Madoff and Harvey Weinstein.
CAITLIN HART
Director
Caitlin Hart is the founder and Artistic Director of the LA based, award-winning theatre company - The Vagrancy. She holds a B.A in Theatre Arts from Aquinas College and completed the Atlantic Theater Company’s 2 Year Professional Acting Conservatory in NYC.
Caitlin is a lover of new play development and has directed many new play readings, workshops and shorts.

CRISTINA FLOREZ

Cristina Florez (Choreographer) is a Bronx-born, west-coast raised Colombianand Puerto Rican dancer, vocalist, actress and spoken-word artist based in Los Angeles. She has been a movement educator and choreographer for over a decade now, but is excited to be making her debut in the musical theater realm with Capitol Comedy. You can find her on your tv screen most recently doing an Uber commercial, around the city performing at exclusive burlesque and bomba events, or doing body centric live performances with the collective Bodies In Play. Costume Designer
Vicki Conrad Los Angeles Costume Designer whose Theatre credits include Under Milkwood (Coeurage), For The Love Of or the roller derby play (Theater of Note & CTG Kirk Douglas) and 8:03 (Scherzo LA Fringe). Ovation Award for The Mystery of Edwin Drood and nominations for 33 Variations, Imaginary Invalid, The Learned Ladies (L.A. Weekly Award), and Big River. Her Asterion (Ghost Road) costumes traveled to Poland’s Gratowkski Institute. Her custom designs were in Project Runway’s Season 15 Commercial, 90210 Remount Commercial and Fox Super Bowl Commercial.
BRENDA VARDA
Music Director, Arranger
Brenda Varda is a musician, director, writer with 25 years experience as composer, playwright, songwriter, and musical director. Original works: "Fables Du Theatre" & “Liquid" (Unknown Theatre), "Alice Through the Wormhole" (Caltech Theatre); solo performer/writer "Nine Dresses" and "This is My Garbage" and "Cyberlilly7", 40+ other productions as musical director & composer (Sacred Fools, Overtone Industries, Son of Semele, and more). Oh, and A Wasted Evening with Tom Lehrer.

MATT RICHTER
Tech Director & Sound Designer
Matt Richter is an award-winning designer based in Los Angeles. He is the resident designer for the LA LGBT Center, where he also works full time.
Designs for the Center include Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe; Revisited (Ovation nomination), and Hit The Wall (Ovation Nomination, LADCC Award). Previous designs include Mr. Burns (Ovation nomination) and A Gulag Mouse (Ovation nomination),
both for Sacred Fools, Anna in the Tropics, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Musical Fools (Open Fist), 4:48 Psychosis (Son Of Semele), the Los Angeles premiere of Between Riverside and Crazy (The Fountain), Disposable Necessities and Earthquakes in London (Rogue Machine) and I'm Not A Comedian, I'm Lenny Bruce Off Broadway and in Chicago. Matt also serves as half of the experimental ambient folk duo Lanfair Field ( lanfairfield.com ) and creates his own audio strangeness as autodealer ( autodlr.net ). MICHAEL RIMBAUD
Designer
Michael Rimbaud, a native New Yorker, is a graphic designer, fine artist, songwriter, illustrator, and animator. He’s been called “The Lower East Side’s Renaissance Man” by the Villager in 2006. Mike also taught at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan for several years.

PATRICK BOYLAN
Pianist
Patrick Boylan is a multi-instrumentalist with expertise in piano, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, clarinet, tuba, and voice. He has built a diverse career as a Music Director, Accompanist, and Vocal Performer in Los Angeles. He has accompanied auditions for Broadway and touring productions, including HAMILTON, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and DIRTY DANCING. Patrick is currently a resident Piano Bar Entertainer at Tramp Stamp Granny’s, where he plays and sings musical theater, pop, rock, and Disney from Thursday to Saturday nights. He also playsat Larsen’s in Encino and Maggiano’s at The Grove.
